lemon/Kagoji Lebu is a Homestead Plant
lemon/Kagoji Lebu (Citrus aurantifolia) is smaller in size than common lemon, but both are known as lemon in Bengali. About 9,000 acres of land under paper lemon and lemon cultivation. Cultivation is usually done around the homestead or in the garden by cuttings, cuttings, sometimes from seed. A six-seven-year-old tree produces 150 to 200 fruits a year. The tree is small, 3-5 m tall, bushy, with shaggy stems and sharp thorns. The leaves are small, the stem is curved. Flowers are small, lightly scented and white. Fruit small, round, juicy, bark thin and smooth, very sour. The ripe fruit is greenish-yellow, containing many small, embryonated seeds. The yield is high during the monsoon season. Lemon/Kagoji Lebu Varieties
Recently Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute has developed two new varieties named Barilebu-2 and Barilebu-3. The fruit of the first is round, medium, weighing about 81 g, sour and juicy (33%) and the second is round, small, weighing about 55 g, less sour and very juicy (38%). In addition to sour paper lemons, sweet lemons or sweet lemons (c. limettoides) are available in Bangladesh. Its plants, flowers and fruits are large in size. Fruit is very juicy (42.5%) with low acidity (0.09%), round or oblong, with a clear bead on the tip, not very sour.
Types of other Lemons
The name Lebu comes from Sanskrit ‘nimbu’. Nimbu finally became lemon. As simple as the name lemon is, the fruit is not. There are about eighty types of lemons in Sylhet in this country. Each lemon has a different shape and taste – some are very sour, some are very sweet. Lemons are commonly called sour or citrus fruits.

Lemon Kaji Lebu is relatively small among lemons so its other name is Patilebu. Again, Pat means rice because it is used in the dish, but its name may be Pati Lemon. Obesity, constipation and gout

So to prevent fat gain, temporary constipation and gout, we should make lemon water a habit just like we brush our teeth every day. Take a slice of lemon (any other lemon will do) and mix it with 1 cup of water and eat it every morning and evening. It should continue throughout life. If you have a cold, runny nose, mix half a slice of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey with color tea and get quick benefits. A few pieces of ginger can be added with it. Eat once after 2 hours. This should be continued until the feeling goes away. Then once the runny nose or cold will stop.
Sneezing and hoarseness
Asthma or asthma can also cause a cough. If there is a lot of shouting or a sudden cold, the throat breaks.
