100g of Bottle Gourd contains 15kcal, and 100g of edible part contains 1g of fat. It has 96% water content, is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, and is rich in fiber, vitamin C, riboflavin, zinc, thiamine, iron, magnesium and manganese.
As pineapple is rich in vitamin C, it plays a role in preventing viral cold and cough. Pineapple juice can be consumed as an alternative medicine for runny nose, sore throat and bronchitis. Moreover, pineapple plays a very beneficial role in preventing fever and jaundice.
Guava is a Medicinal fruit. It is rich in vitamin A and vitamin C. Vitamin A is very beneficial for eyes and hair. Try to eat this fruit from childhood. Vitamin C nourishes the skin of the whole body, keeping it away from many infectious diseases.
Lychee is a very popular seasonal fruit in Bangladesh. It is found in Bangladesh in summer (May-June). The best quality lychees are produced in Dinajpur and Rajshahi districts. Litchi Bombay, China 3, China 4 and Mozafir varieties grown in Bangladesh are particularly popular for their taste. In addition, other varieties such as Vedana, Gorapi are also grown.
Carambola fruit is rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins A, C, B5, B9 (folate) and the minerals zinc, sodium, magnesium, copper and potassium. It’s relatively low in calories, providing 28 calories and 6 grams of carbs per serving. Star fruit contains loads of antioxidants such as quercetin, gallic acid, proanthocyanin and epicatechin.
Bitter Gourd (ucchya or korolla) primarily a summer vegetable, Momordica charantea, a native of Bangladesh. The crop is rich in carotene, calcium and iron; can be grown in any type of soil but loamy to sandy loamy soils are preferred for better growth and quality fruit.
